Floral Park students volunteer at Liz’s Day

October 10, 2017 By Team Up 4 Community Leave a Comment

Floral Park Memorial High School students participated in and lent assistance at Liz’s Day on Sept. 30.

The varsity football team carried water, apples and other supplies, in addition to folding clothes, while the varsity and junior varsity cheerleaders marched in the parade. Members of the Leos Club, Junior Honor Society and R.O.O.T.S. Christian Club also volunteered their time. It was a great day, and everyone was thrilled to lend a helping hand. Liz’s Day representative Christy Colgan said, “Our community should be proud of our Floral Park Memorial students.”
